Thanks so much!

But what about BCC? I really don't want to lose any message on which I am BCC'd.

Again thanks for all your help!

Hi there,

With the method, you will move all messages on which you are BCC'd to a specific folder.
The option except if my name is in the To or Cc box in the 6th step means that it will only move the messages you are BCC'd. So, you can just follow the instructions in this tutorial. 🙂

Hey Amanda, thanks so much!

I think what I am asking is that I want all messages to which I am "to, cc, or bcc" NOT to be moved and everything else to be moved.

Hi there,

Sorry that could you please advide what are other options? From my knowledge, all the messages in your mailbox are sent, cc, or bcc to you. And in this case, according to your reply, you don't need to move any messages.😅

Haha.. when a message is sent to a distribution group, it is not sent to me directly as to cc or bcc. My goal is to move distribution group emails and to keep the ones sent to my email.

Hi there,

You should select sent to people or public group in the 4th step of this tutorial, and then click on people or public group to select a distribution group.

And then do not select any options in the 6th step of the tutorial.

Once finished, you created a rule that will move the messages sent to the group. If you have more than one groups, you should create a new rule for a new distribution group.

This only works for the primary email address on the account. If you have additional alias addresses and/or additional domains in your account, those messages will get filtered out.
