步骤5:然后出现Rule Address(规则地址)对话框。

Thx working for 2019. This is gold. Dont understand why its not more logical in rules template. SPAMERS using display name so much novadays.

This works, however, if the display name is also an email (a different one), outlook automatically associates that with an email, you can't get around it like you can with display names. At least I haven't figured out how to yet.

AT LAST! I have searched for this solution for over a year. DISPLAY NAME is the key. As you said, the same display name will come from literally a million variations of the same email. Also, never found a way to block top level domain i.e . No way to block all from .xyz.

Worked great! Thanks so much!

I found that if I open the mail message, the click Rules > New Rule, it lets me select the Display Name with From box. In my case the Display Name is Nutrisystem_Affiliate so my check box is From Nutrisystem_Affiliate. Maybe this is a capability new to Outlook 2013?

Hi,
I test this solution in my Outlook 2010 and fortunately it works. I also tried to solve this problem by creating rules (containing specific text in the sender's address) but it does not work. Solution presented by you is working in my case - but i am worrying whether Microsoft will fix this back door in the feature releases of Office.

It kinda worked for me...
At first step of creating the rule I didn`t match to:
"from people or public group"
but:
" with specific word in the message header"
and
after step 8. ( i use Outlook 2016)
I get a nother option to add additional Statements to my rule
so I added :
" not if it is form person from addresbook "
( .. mind this last statement was translated from German)
*and
personal Preference
I set it to be moved in to "Junk" not delete it.

I first came across the link ( that is on the end of my message)
... but didn´t not get it how to set it up..
that was all before reading this post !

So thank you, thank you ,very very much !

It kind of worked for me, but not always. Then I used "with specific words in the sender's address" instead of "from people or public group". You get a box where you can add words to a list. This works much better for me.

Works great...finally a simple solution. Microsoft Junk and Clutter support is really inferior to most other email vendors.
