Thanks so much for this! When there is a duplicate, how can i have the 2nd occurrence highlighted instead of the 1st one? (when using regular excel). Thanks so much

Hello Shosh, you can use this formula =COUNTIF($A$2:$A2, A2)>1 in the Conditional formatting rule, it will highlighted all duplicates except the first one. Hope it can help you.

I think she meant she still needs both columns as part of the equation but have it highlight the lower duplicate instead of the higher duplicate.

Sir, if you change the date of kate from 1/1/2016 to 1/2/2016 cell will be highlighted or not.... what i want is if date,name, and score are.same then highlight. If date is same name is same but score is different then should not be highlight. Please help.
